This post is all about the reasons why Daytona Beach is the best Florida Beach photoshoot location on the East Coast.
We all learned early on in school that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. And I feel like it’s common knowledge that sunset is the most ideal time for your photo session.
But here on the east coast of Florida, the beaches are to the east and the sun sets on the opposite side which can make it hard to get those beautiful sunset shots with the water in the background.
Which is why I believe the Daytona Beach area is the best place for family beach sessions. Because we have TWO parks at our inlet to the Intracoastal that give views of the sun setting over the water. One is located in Ponce Inlet right next to the infamous Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. The other is located in New Smyrna Beach. Both offer stunning views of the sunset over the water along with rocks at their respective jetties.
You will have access to both the east and west sides of the beach. The east sunset sky turns this beautiful gradient of colors as the sun sets. If you are wanting a gorgeous sunset session here on the East Coast of Central Florida, look no further.
